This is art I drew while chronicling my PC's (player character) journey. Each piece allows the opportunity to explore or try something that I enjoy or wanted to try.

A drunk in an alley, playing with hue and saturation to distinguish character and backdrop.
This was an attempt at using a reverse color palette. I remember painting some paper in a rainbow of colors. Letting it dry and then painting it black and scratching the black away. I was doing a Halloween piece for 2024 and this was an item I made.
This was about Halloween 2023 and I tried to make a scene spooky, but wanted to use a minimalist color or single color approach to set the mood.
A beach backdrop where a duel was held in the L5R game.
I traced the shape of a vase, and colored it a kinda egg white. Then I painted as close as I could to a bonsai styled cherry tree. Next, adding cracks to mimic a prior broken state. I masked it with a golden texture to mimic kintsugi.
As winter looms in the northern mountains of Rokugan our band of samurai help to rebuild the shrine at the Serpent's Tail mine, appeasing the kami. Gold plaques honor them and our clans.
As winter looms in the northern mountains of Rokugan our band of samurai visit the hotspring at the village around Mountain's Anvil Castle.
A duel to decide the fate of Doji Kyouji outside Mountain's Anvil Castle. This was a fun time with perspective and point-of-view while trying to tell a story without words.
Tall Pine Village had a meteor fall and nearly wiped it out. Frankly, I love black and white Ansel Adams' stuff, and practicing drawing a night scene was fun.
