Lion Clan NPC (Non-Player Character) Game Tokens for L5R
These NPC tokens were made for a L5R game I play in. I used colors to make the PC's or Player Characters stand out. I tried to stick to black and white like an Ansel Adams photo, or minimal color so we could distinguish them easy. I only did the picture, the game token frames/rings were purchased assets from Roll20 Marketplace, Gabriel Pickard.
Matsu Shanzi - A Lion clan courtier samurai. The second woman Kitsuki Donoha saved and the author of the "In Defense of Honor" series, chronicling his journey.
Akodo Maki - A Lion clan bushi samurai. The fourth woman Kitsuki Donoha. This was an experiment with colored background using a gradient shift.
Akodo Maki - A Lion clan bushi samurai. The third woman Kitsuki Donoha. This was the picture where I began to realize I liked a crisper style of shading and tonal light changes.
Akodo Tozawa - A Lion clan city district daimyo of Shiro Akodo - One of my first tokens and I tried doing something which I felt would be more comic style with a nod to Jack Kirby.
Ikoma Anakazu - Lion clan's Ikoma Family Daimyo. Really important NPC's should have a bit more oomph, so this got a background.
Kitsu Tsuguri - Lion clan's Kitsu Family Daimyo, and the clan daimyo for the Emperor's Gift caravan. Really important NPC's should have a bit more oomph, so this got a background.
Akodo Hotaru - Mother of Akodo Asahi and Kitsuki Donoha's youngest aunt.
